A couple of weeks ago I found this place with a lot of different lunch meals you might familiar with for lunch.
I took the pizzeta houmous, couscous & tabbouleh and immediately I fell in love with this restaurant. It was really a lot and after one hour burning calories during yoga practice it was the best thing to eat.
So when a friend of mine invited me for a lunch I knew where to go. I recommended him the pizzeta but I took the porridge make of quinoa. It was a beautiful dish with lots of banana. Again, after 75 minutes of power yoga my body wants to have something what is filling. This covered it perfectly.
Although I am not that fan of banana, it was tasty. The turmeric made it a bit yellow and has a bit of a weird taste if you are not used to it. I love oatmeal porridge and I am still more a fan of oats than the combination with quinoa. But it was something really different and the fruits on top made it fresh and sweet. I like it when a cook just decides to put something else on the menu. This is still a really good combination, so I would recommend this dish as well if you want to try something new. The maple syrup was not that present but just made it sweet enough.
We both took the vegan chocolate milk. Yes, during summertime. You have to know this day it was aroung 17 degrees and it rained at that time. Vegan hot choco? Yes, in stead of cowmilk they used almond milk and the menu said it was served with ginger. Mine had a lot of ginger which I first had to crush to release the flavor, while my friends glass turned to be gingerless.
I was not that fond of the hot choco. It was too milky for me and it should be very very hot choco but hot beverages like coffee as well always seems to be a little challenge for coffee bars. Besides that I really missed the chocolate taste. I love chocolate so for me a couple of more raw chocolate spoons can be it in... The latte machiato with oatmilk made it up to me. Hmmm, Restaurant Lavinia see you next time!
